He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan William Hicks and Hilda Crocker Hicks; and his siblings, Marvin Wayne Hicks and Clara Jean Dearman. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Cecile Taylor; his son William Ralph Hicks, Jr. (Shelly); his grandson William Ralph Hicks, III; and his siblings, Peggy Turner, Margaret Ann Shaw and Clifton Hicks (Donna Kay). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
