With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Dirkin Helton (Leakesville, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2024 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma Helton and William Helton; and his grandparents, Lottie Green, Jim and Mae Jewel Helton.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Helton; his daughter Wendi Smith (Daniel); and his stepchildren, Brittany Brown (Greg), Larry Fortenberry (Destiny) and Tiffany Martin. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and close friends.
