She was predeceased by: her husband George Edward Grimes; her children, Harvey Edward Grimes, Horace Emanuel Grimes, Donny Lee Grimes and Ruth Anita Cox; her parents, Horace Rayfield Beech and Martha Jane Alford Beech; her siblings, William Beech, Lamar Beech, Lavon Beech, Wesley Beech, Karl Allen Beech, Liza Beech Gray, Gladys Beech Cottingham and Annette Beech Freitas; her son-in-law Edward Lamar Fountain; and her great grandchild Charlotte Scarbrough.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Lee Grimes (Flora) and Amy Grimes Fountain (Frank James); her sister-in-law Margaret Botter Beech; and her children-in-law, Deborah Grimes and Danny Cox. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; numerous other relatives, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah United Pentecostal Church (331 MS-594, Leakesville, MS 39451). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
