He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Melvin Turner and Beatrice Ball Turner; his brothers, Melvin Howell "Pud" Turner and Norvin R. Turner; his nephew Jason B. Turner; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Stanford and Jean Zorn Turner.
He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Lynn Turner; his sister Alpha Turner Stanford; his nephews, Duane Stanford, David Stanford (Sheri) and Kevin Turner (Kristy); his niece Janet Dockery (Scott); his niece-in-law Danielle Blaylock Turner; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dr. Casey Stanford (Hannah), Dillon Turner, Stone Turner, Sam Turner, Carrie Lynn Stanford, Lindsey Turner, Lana Turner, Megan Dockery and Shelby Dockery.
