She was predeceased by: her husband William Floyd Herndon; and her parents, Samuel David and Alma Claire Etheridge Turner. She is survived by: her children, William D. Herndon (Pam), Robert Allan Herndon (Patty), Thomas J. Herndon (Rhonda), Shirley Cantrell (Bob) and Mary Paula Howell (Sib). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Mary Herndon Memorial Fund at Chickasaw United Methodist Church.
