It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Hicks of Leakesville, Mississippi, who passed away on October 13, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sons, Marvin Wayne Hicks II and Jimmy Andy Williams; his parents, Morgan Hicks and Hilda Hicks; his sister Clara Jean Dearman; and his mother-in-law Annie Belle Taylor.

He is survived by: his wife Allah Hicks; his children, Tammy Rounsaville, Robert Hicks and Heath Hicks; his siblings, Ralph Hicks (Dorothy), Clifton Hicks (Donna Kay), Margaret Hicks Shaw and Peggy Hicks Turner; his grandchildren, Zach Rounsaville, Taryn Rounsaville, Drew Hicks and Trey Hicks; and his great grandchildren, Fallon Plash and Kai Rounsaville.
