He was predeceased by: his parents, Lollis Walton and Lillie Mae Mason Pierce; and his brothers, Ralph and Lauvon Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Ann Earline Herndon Pierce; his children, Julia Ann Walley (James), Marian Seals (Gerald), Larry Wayne Pierce (Maryori), William "Ronnie" Pierce (Angela) and Charlene Roberts (Steve); and his brother Carlton Pierce (Evelyn). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
