He was predeceased by: his wife Dianne; his stepson Wayne Easterling; his parents, Charlie Berry and Elise Adele O'Neal; and his siblings, Paul Ruffin, Roy Bryant, Charlie O'Neal and Rita Mae Brewer.
He is survived by: his brother Richard Lee "Potlicker" O'Neal; and his nieces and nephews, Lawson Brewer and Adele Brewer. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
