With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George W. Fountain Jr. of Leakesville, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 24, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Monkey" Fountain and Sallie Collins Fountain; his wife Nancy McNeil; his sisters, Ada, Lela Faye, Carolyn and Ora Lee; and his great grandchild Katelyn Beard.
He is survived by: his children, Patty Eubanks, Renee Fountain and Jason Fountain (Katy); his grandchildren, Melissa Keys and Matt Eubanks (April); his great grandchildren, Dylan, Caleb, Caiden, Destiny, Bree, Braedon, Bryson, Olivia, Nolan, Valerie, Hank and Kennedy; his great great grandchildren, Allyanna, Sawyer, Kingsleigh, Maverick, Malachi, Avelyn and Teagan; his brothers, Bobby Fountain (Faye) and Jimmy Fountain (Tina); and his in-laws, Joel McNeil (Faye) and Lynn Huhn (Onida). He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moments Funeral Home (1601 Lackey St, Leakesville, MS 39451). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
