He is survived by: his wife Breta Clark Smith; his children, Amanda Pope (John), Casandra McKissick (John) and Johnathan Smith (Jessica); his grandchildren, Bryce Pope (Sydney), Trevor McKissick, Kirkland McKissick (Katelynn), Byron Pope, Bethany Hoeflich (Aaron), Scarlett Thomason (Blake), LeighAnne Hickman (Carson), Hunter White, Brittney Smith and Jayna McKissick; his great grandchildren, Madison Pope and Hoeflich; his daughter-in-law Holly Serrano; his siblings, James Smith, Frank Smith (Pearline), Helen Allan (Pete), Edna Earl Goode, Evelyn Davis (Raymond), Geraldine Snellgrove (Ernest), Wanda Havard (Charlie) and June Seamon (Russell); and his sisters-in-law, Gwen Smith and Addie Smith.
