He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy Prentiss and Nina Prentiss; and his siblings, Russell Prentiss, Dewitt Prentiss, Jack Graham Prentiss, Jessie Hicks, Vesta Brewer and Elizabeth McMillan.
He is survived by: his wife Fannie Kate Prentiss of Leakesville; his daughters, Gwendolyn Carol Luker (Edward) of Hartselle, AL, Jacklyn Dee Brewer (Joe Arnold) of Gulfport, MS and Henrietta Renee Smith (Prentiss) of Petal, MS; and his sister Reba Devine of Fairhope, AL.. He is also survived by children and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Faith Presbyterian Church (1300 Mississippi St, Leakesville, MS 39451). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
