With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Turner of Leakesville, Mississippi, born in Pontotoc, Mississippi, who passed away on September 9, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Don Turner; her grandson Douglas Jackson; and her parents, Dewitt Thompson and Ruth Williams Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Linwood Turner; her children, Valerie Jackson (Richard) of Mobile, AL and Kevin Turner of Leakesville; her great grandchildren, Hank, James, Harrison, Teddy, Meryll and Charlotte; and her sisters, Roberta Anderson (Robert), Gwyn Turner, Mary Louise Heath (Oliver), Cindy Beavers (David) and Patsy Delchamps. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
