She was predeceased by: her parents, William Beard and Edwina Beard; her husband William McLeod; her son Billy Earl Pierce; her granddaughter Jada Pierce; and her siblings, William Beard (Pop) and Myrtis West.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Pierce and Gwendel Pierce. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and several other nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
