He was predeceased by: his former wife Margaret Thompson McDonald; and his parents, Roy Gregory and Doris Keeler McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Louise Morgan McDonald of Lawrence, MS; his son Jamie McDonald (Robin) of Newton, MS; his stepchildren, Aaron Shook (Ashleigh) of Gautier, MS, Joanna Brown (Josh) of Haddon Township, NJ and Laura Page (Shawn) of Gulfport, MS; his grandchildren, Steven Weir, Leanne Cash, Lexi Culpepper, Brandon Shook, Howie Shook, Aribella Shook, Thomas Shook, Brenna Brown, McKenna Brown and Kara Page; and his brothers, Bill McDonald (Patsy), Mark McDonald (Cathy) and Donald "Don Don" McDonald (Vanessa). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newton County Funeral Home - South (100 Old Hwy 15 Loop, Newton, MS 39345). A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Newton County Funeral Home South (100 Old Hwy 15 Loop, Newton, MS 39345).
