We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2024, at the age of 74, Zettie Hancock McCardle of Laurel, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Llyod and Merle Evans Hancock; her sister Johnnie Merle Blakeney (John Billy); and her siblings-in-law, John McCardle and Martha White (Jim).
She is survived by: her husband Burnice E. "Buddy" McCardle Jr.; her children, Brad McCardle (Paige), Chris McCardle (Rena) and Melissa Dearman; her son-in-law Richie Dearman; her grandchildren, Mary Bradley McCardle, Brooks McCardle, Tatum Smith (Shelby), Anna McCardle (Jacob Parchert), Amber McCardle, Austen Banks (Rachel), Adam Banks (Brelyn), Megan Dearman (Sean Dennis), Zach Dearman (Lexie Dema) and Logan Dearman; and her great grandchildren, Mia, Isla, Rafe Smith, Elijah Dennis and Cooper Parchert. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Zettie's memory to Trinity Baptist Church or The Mission at The Cross.
