He was predeceased by: his wife Alma "Kay" Craft; and his siblings, Agnes Russum, Kenneth Walters of Cleo Turner, D. J, J. M. Walters, Howard Walters, Julia Culpepper, Odell Walters, Josephine Scruggs and Jean Walters.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Walters (Byron) and David Walters (Dee); his grandchildren, Kayla Walters, Ashlee Johnson (Landon), Leslie Laypath (Tristan), Jacob Morgan and Kathryn Sullivan (John); and his great grandchildren, Sadie Johnson, Paisley Laypath, Lynlee Sullivan and Sophie Johnson.
