She was predeceased by: her parents, Marianne Totten and Lester Totten; and her sister B. J. Totten. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Van Ellzey, Sr.; her children, Johnny Van Ellzey Jr., Toni Ellzey and Ribecka James; her grandchildren, Chrislyn Lawson, Stevie Ellzey, Daxton James, Ella James, Mackenzie James and Tyler Barnheart; and her siblings, David Totten, Bill Totten and Patricia Totten.
