It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Rae McGill Hollingshead of Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Winfred McGill and Elsie McGill (Walker); her brother Jerry McGill; her former husband Aubrey Brooks; her son Aubrey Winfred "Bubba" Brooks; and her grandson Jaye Graham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dianne Graham of Laurel, Darlene Lee (Tim) of Laurel and Brandi Landrum (Myron) of Laurel; her grandchildren, Jamie Graham (Jonathan), Alexis "Lexie" Dykes (Donovan), Drake Plankers, Caitlin Landrum, Chyenne Trotter (Paul), Zoey Graham and Jayde Brooks; and her great grandchildren, Phoenix Aborrezco, Aubrey Dickens, Chevelle Hays, Audriana Jays, Isaiah Dykes, Gracelyn Dykes, Audrey Dykes, Zaiden Dykes, Diamond Trotter, Preston Trotter, Anthony Trotter and Tulliemae Trotter.
