It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Scottie Lavon Jordan of Laurel, Mississippi, born in Gulfport, Mississippi, who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James L. Jordan; and his grandparents, Lamar Jordan, Myrtle Jordan Cooley, Ernest Nichelson and Dessie Nichelson.
He is survived by: his mother Kay Jordan; his wife Karla Danielle Rutland Jordan; his children, Jonathan Michael Jordan, Krista Jade Murphy (Donnie Murphy) and Eliza Josephine Walley (Devin Creel); his granddaughters, Mariahna Nicole Creel and Adalynn Suzette Murphy; and his nephew Christopher Hutchinson (Susan) of Ogden. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations be made to the AFSP or an animal charity of your choice.
