She was predeceased by: her parents, James Grady Cason and Betty Martin Cason; her brother James G. "Jabo" Cason, Jr.; her parents-in-law, Bernadine Garvin Johnston of Laurel and Albert B. "Johnny" Johnston of Laurel; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Hanson of Katy, TX and Janice Johnston Langdon of Laguna Woods, CA..
She is survived by: her husband Larry B. Johnston; her children, Kara Leigh Johnston of Petal, MS and Kyle Cason Johnston (Emily) of Ellisville, MS; her grandchildren, Kane Malik Jackson (Em) of Petal, Cooper Roberts Johnston and Cason David Johnston of Ellisville; her brother Greg Cason of Laurel; her siblings-in-law, Sonya Johnston Hanson of Katy and Andrew Langdon of Laguna Woods; her caregiver Susan Clark of Petal; and her aunts, Cherry Martin Lee (Leige) of Byram, MS and Modena Martin of Jackson, MS. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Hospital in the name of Sandra Cason Johnston.
