She was predeceased by: her daughter Windy Herrington; her parents, James Monroe Knotts, Sr. and Ethel Spradley Knotts; her grandchild Erin Heidleberg; her grandparents, James Dempsy, Pearl Knotts, Everett and Ida Spradley; and her son-in-law Walter Benoit.
She is survived by: her husband James Temple; her children, Charles Williams, Brian Temple (Jennie), Wanda Benoit and Cindy McAndrews (Nathan); her siblings, James Monroe Knotts, Jr. (Judy), Richard Allen Knotts (Faye), Tommy Joe Knotts, Sr., Curtis Dale Knotts and Linda Smith (Jerome); her grandchildren, Jordan Heidleberg, Colby Smith (Heather), Brody Smith, Anthony Herrington (Makayla Farris), Danielle Howard, James Allen Heidleberg (Kristen), Jessica Miszkwitz and Rachel Heidleberg; and her son-in-law Tony Herrington. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel Tuesday (4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS 39443). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
