He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Graham Dykes; his daughter Nancy Gaile Rousey; his parents, Homer Clifton Dykes and Annie Mae Waltman Dykes; and his sisters, Joyce Dykes Reed and Emma Lee Black.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff, Cliff, Sandy Dykes of Sweetwater, AL, Mike Sumrall of Laurel, Annette Dykes Smith of Florence and Harold Dykes; and his grandchildren, Charlie Rousey, Jr. of New Kensington, PA, Christina Russell of Destin, FL, Cory Dykes of Sweetwater, AL, Ashley Yarbrough of Brandon, Justin Sumrall of Madison and Nicholas Sumrall of Laurel.
