She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernie Walton Roney, Sr. and Agnes Troy Welborn Roney. She is survived by: her husband Howard Levern Smith; her children, Gregory Keith Smith (Heather) of Roanoke, VA and Teri Smith Keechle (Alexander) of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Kyle Westlake, Steven Westlake, Mary Smith, Anna Smith, Tessa Nurre, Sawyer Keechle, Cooper Keechle, Trace Nurre and Tatum Nurre; and her siblings, Dennis Neil Roney and Elizabeth Diane Roney. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kingston Assembly of God Church (4637 MS-15, Laurel, MS 39443). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
