She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Alford and Beulah Tera Herrington (Brunson); and her husband Murray. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Jo Pierce, Al Wallace (Melanie) and Sue Rayburn (Larry); her grandchildren, Jay Davis, John Wallace (Katie), Trey Rayburn (Katie), Clint Rayburn (Kandi), Landon Wallace (Jennifer) and Halley Strickland (Phillips); and her brother Ronald A. Herrington (Loucinda). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
