She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Ekes and Mary Ekes; her husband Jim Meyers; and her sisters, Helen and Carol.
She is survived by: her sons, Owen, David and Jason; her daughters-in-law, Kimberly and Ginny; her grandchildren, Caroline, Graham, Nicholas, Maelen and Michael; her great grandchildren, Montgomery and Mickey Sue; and her nieces and nephews, Gianna and Richard.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memory Chapel Funeral Home (3100 Audubon Dr, Laurel, MS 39440). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Laurel (607 W 5th St, Laurel, MS 39440).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Christian Food Mission in Laurel, in honor of Jacqueline's lifelong commitment to listening, caring, and helping others find their way.
