It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Helen May of Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lou Gilbreath and John Leonard Gilbreath, Sr.; and her brothers, John Leonard "Johnny" Gilbreath, Jr. and David Lee Gilbreath. She is survived by: her husband Grady Rolland May; her children, Randy May (Elizabeth) and Lorrie Dry (Derrick); her grandchildren, Alex May (Ashton), Alaina May, Mason Dry (Reagan) and Maylen Johnson (Joshua); her great grandchildren, Oliver May, Della Rae Dry and Mary Lawrence Johnson; her sister-in-law Juanita Gilbreath; and her brother Bob Taylor (J. R. Eaton).

A graveside service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Memory Chapel (3100 Audubon Dr, Laurel, MS 39440). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Hickory Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the senior adult fund at Glade Baptist Church.
