He is survived by: his mother Patricia Francine Hilbun; his children, Elizabeth Hilbun-Fennell (Matt), Ivy Hilbun, Alyssa Hilbun and Ethan Hilbun (Emma); his grandchildren, Rhett Hilbun, Amelia Fennell and Austin Fennell; and his siblings, Marnita Welborn (Stanley), Mark Ellis Hilbun (Betty) and Hubert Miles Hilbun. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
