With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Geraldine Lightsey of Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on November 18, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her fathers, Andrew Austin and Troy W. Austin; her former husband B. L. Blackledge, Jr.; her husband Alfred E. Lightsey; her sisters, Ludell Smith, Lola Austin and Betty Oswalt; and her granddaughter Sara Blackledge.
She is survived by: her sister Carolyn Suggs; and her children, Bennie L. Blackledge III (Sandi), Michael Blackledge (Nodie), Tonya Hebert (Robert) and Tammy Overstreet. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
