He was predeceased by: his sons, Calvin "Scooter" Sumrall and Kelly Sumrall; his parents, Lucian B. Sumrall and Clara B. Boyd Sumrall; his siblings, Pat Sumrall (Eloise), Prentis Sumrall, Lincoln Sumrall (Mary), Heddie Loper (Broom) and Ruby Jerdan (Joe); and his brother-in-law Gerard Saucier.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Sumrall; his daughters, Theresia Sumrall, Deborah Sumrall and Chelsea Thornton; his stepsons, Robert Wayne Thornton and Ray Alan Thornton (Sheri); his siblings, Paul Ray Sumrall, Sr., Shelton Sumrall (Elaine), Rita Saucier and Artie Yocum; his grandsons, Nathan Sumrall (Laine) and Tyler Thornton (Katie Strickland); his great grandchild Levi Thornton; and his brother-in-law Howard Yocum. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
