She was predeceased by: her parents, R. C. Clark and Virginia Clark; her sister Jean McAlpin; and her brother-in-law Larry McAlpin. She is survived by: her husband Eric Van Schaik; her daughters, Erica Sims (Blake) and Sarah Ard (Zachary); her granddaughter Lorna Jane Ard; and her siblings, Richard Clark (Wanda), Terry Hosey (Phil), Sarah Kitchens (Larry) and Tammy Fowler (Al). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made in Laura's memory to Indian Springs Baptist Church Mission Fund.
