Julius Holifield Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julius Holifield (Laurel, Mississippi), who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Tim Holifield and Maudie Parker Holifield; his stepmother Pearl T. Holifield; his siblings, A. T. "Buddy" Holifield, Hillman Holifield, Myrtle Lee Dykes, Jewel Windham and Hazel Knight; and his granddaughter Maelyn Cheryl Holifield.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Holifield; his children, Julius DeLoach, Alicia Campbell (Steve), Dr. Mark DeLoach (Charlie), Chad Cummins, Jennifer Rustin (Carey), Christy Holifield (Dusty) and Brandon Evans (Allison); and his close friends, Keith and Lynn Stockett. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Union Seminary Cemetery (1834 Co Rd 8, Laurel, MS 39443).
