He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Morgan Sr. and Bertha McClain Morgan. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Boutwell Morgan; his children, David L. Morgan (Bridget), Dawn Morgan Revette (Jeff) and Donna Morgan Doggett (Stuart); his grandchildren, Amber Morgan Hill, Austin, Brandon Morgan, Tanner, Keyton Sam Revette, Tyler and Lance Doggett; his great grandchildren, Lily Hill and Grayson Revette; and his sister Roz Morgan Newell of Hattiesburg.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Gardens Cemetery (1206 Wansley Rd, Laurel, MS 39440).
