Jewell Panther Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jewell Panther of Laurel, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Horace Panther; and her sister Arline Hicks. She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Jane; her son-in-law Danny Bush of Laurel; her son Scott; her daughter-in-law Michele Panther of Millry, Alabama; her sister Joyce Lutz of Belwood; her grandchildren, Adam Bush (Sandy) of McKinney, Amanda Warnock (Trey) of Portland, Ashley Wroth (Andrew) of Fairfield, Andrew Bush of Laurel and Abby Panther of Millry, Alabama; and her great grandchildren, Caroline, Paul, Daniel Warnock, Elijah Bush, Violet and Parker Wroth. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Norman's Grove Baptist Church (2475 Pleasant Grove Rd, Laurel, MS 39443). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
