“This is Bobby Ray. I worked with Gene for many years at MP&L/Entergy. I was very saddened to learn of Gene's death. He was a good friend and I enjoyed working with him and also playing golf with him. I was no where close to the golfer that Gene was and he made that point one day about 40 years ago when he asked me if I had ever thought of using my golf clubs for tomato sticks! We both had a great laugh about that comment! We will certainly be praying for you and your family!”
