He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Bobby Russell Sr. and Geraldine Slaton Russell; and his brothers, Bobby Cecil Russell Jr. and Jerry Lynn Russell. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Strickland Russell; his sons, Reggie Russell (Lataya) and Jeremy Russell; his grandchildren, Adreana Russell, Levi Russell, Ryan Russell, Maddox Russell and Allison Bates (Billy); his great grandchildren, Blakeleigh Bates and Taytum Bates; and his siblings, Roger Russell (Doris) and Linda Sue Clark (Danny).
A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery.
