It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Jeanne Blount of Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Roscoe and Elsie Irene Fletcher; and her stepchildren, Linda Jones and Benjamin Blount. She is survived by: her children, Mary Etta Shaidnagle of Laurel and Michael Holden of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Jessica Shaidnagle of Laurel and Jason Shaidnagle of Ocean Springs; and her siblings, Arie Christina Swift (Bill) of Vancleave, John Andrew Fletcher (Carolyn) of Hurley and Havens Roscoe Fletcher of Vancleave.
