He was predeceased by : his parents, Daniel A. Herring and Ida Jackson Herring; his wife of almost 69 years Geneva J. Herring; and his sister Eva L. Roller. He is survived by : his sons, Stephen A. Herring and Gary L. Herring; his daughter-in-law Catherine Herring; and his granddaughter Elizabeth E. Herring.
