He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Knotts and Minnie Lee Goins Knotts; and his siblings, Willie Knotts, Annie Loyce Williamson and Tommie Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Rae Ishee Knotts; his children, Teddy Knotts (Kathy), Tracy Knotts and Teressa Fite (Chuck); his sister Gladys Bullock; and his grandchildren, Tyler Fite, Kevin Knotts, Johnathan Knotts, Jaqueline Parris (Justin) and Rhonda Stidd (Andrew). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
