He was predeceased by: his father W. A. McDaniel; his stepfather Bobby Reece; and his mother-in-law Lena Evans. He is survived by: his mother Barbara McDaniel Reece; his wife Joyce McDaniel; his daughter Jessie Pevey (Dallas); his grandchildren, Luke and Shiloh; his brothers, Alan McDaniel (Sherry) and Tim McDaniel; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Evans (Angie) and Janet Evans. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
