It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lamar A. Gidden Jr. (Lauderdale, Mississippi), who passed away on October 17, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, L. A. Gidden and Virginia Gidden. He is survived by: his son Lamar Gidden III (Laura); his grandson Lamar Gidden IV of Meridian, MS; his daughter Fonda Shaia (Ken) of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Elliott Brown of Denver, CO and Zanie Love Shaia of Birmingham, AL; and his brother William "Bill" Gidden (Patti) of Tunica, MS..
