She was predeceased by: her son Curtis "Butch" Tucker; her grandson Charles "Ricky" Nowell; her parents, Emmitt Devine and Pearl Devine; and her siblings, Floyd Devine, Lloyd Devine and Lucille Stevenson.

She is survived by: her children, Beverly Nowell (Charles), James Barber (Elizabeth), Michael Barber (Vicki), William Barber (Elida), Elizabeth Jenkins, Warren Baugus, Jr. and Melissa Rowell (Randall). She is also survived by grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews.

The Baugus Family suggests memorials be made as donations to Salem Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
