He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Howington and Mildred Marie Howington (Parker); and his half-sister Margaret Ann Winstead. He is survived by: his wife Patti Howington (Scott) of Meridian, MS; his son Robbie (Heather Howington); his grandchildren, Tyler Harpman of Starkville, MS, Mercedes Howington of Milton, FL., Robert Howington Jr. of Milton, FL. and Zeta Howington of Milton, FL.; his sister Sue Hearn of Gulfport, MS; his niece La Teasha Hill of Meridian, MS; and his nephews, John Woodall of Gulfport, MS and Damon Hill of Meridian, MS. He is also survived by many other uncles, aunts, and cousins.
