He is survived by: his children, Angela Dianne Porter Anderson (Bill) and Tony Curtis Porter (Michelle); his wife Katie Porter (Stevens); his son Neal Porter; his grandchildren, Jessica Burgess (Eric), Kristen Harrison (Ross), Chandler Smith (Isabella), Keli Smith, Jessica Partridge (Andrew), Adam Porter (Livvie), Brandon Cutway, Brianna McGee (Jonathan) and Shelton Porter; his great grandchildren, Noah, Wyatt Harrison, Cameron, Eylin, Beckett, Rex Burgess, Weston, Riley McGee, Aubrey, Asher Partridge, Jaxon Porter and Blakely Smith; and his siblings, Sarah Hollingsworth, Delma Posey (Johnny), Helen Griffin (William), Jenny McGee (Danny), Mary Bounds (David), Bobby Porter (Deloris) and Buddy Porter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Wolf Funeral Services - Lake (136 Front St, Lake, MS 39092). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the Sharon Primitive Baptist Cemetery (3236 MS-489, Lake, MS 39092).
