He was predeceased by: his parents, Redell Herrington and Vera Satcher Johnson; his wife Mildred Bugg Herrington; his stepparents, Marie Herrington and Henry Johnson; and his brother Doyle Herrington.
He is survived by: his daughter Beth Herrington of Lawrence; his stepsister Debbie Morris (Wendell) of Lawrence; and his half-brother Keith Herrington (Connie) of Lake.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
