He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Sheffield and Lois Patterson Sheffield. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Sheffield; his children, Rhonda Gay of Corinth, Michael Lumpkin of Ronda and Tonia Elrod (Lee) of Conover; his grandchildren, Lindsey Ballinger, Dylan Gay, Logan Gay, Kelsey Carroll, Bryanna Courtney (Jamie) and Bailey Elrod; and his brothers, Bobby Sheffield (Jeaniece) and Danny Sheffield (Kay). He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
