With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Stanford of Lake Cormorant, Mississippi, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on August 14, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Stanford and Mary Stanford; and his brothers, Edgar Stanford Jr. and Sam Stanford. He is survived by: his wife Amelia Stanford; his children, Carla Jeanne Harwell (Tony) of Southaven, MS, Lisa Carole Zeman of Newport, AR and Carl Dennis Stanford Jr. of Lake Cormorant, MS; and his siblings, Billie Dale Combes of Walls, MS, Joyce Hall of Lake Cormorant, MS and Graylin Stanford of Nesbit, MS. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be sent to Glenn's Chapel Church or St. Jude Hospital.
