She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lottie Thompson and Dock Duncan; and her stepfather Clarence Holt. She is survived by: her husband Cecil House; her son Clarence House (Ruthie); her grandchildren, Laura Hunt (Jesse), Amanda Sowell (Lee) and Michael House (Brooke); her great grandchildren, Layla, Alice, Robin, William David, Lola and Brooklyn; her niece Deborah Rhoades (Ray); her sister Mary Ann; and her great grandchild Matthew Brooks House.
