He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Darden and Myrtis Iris Butler; and his siblings, Sandra Murphy and William "Billy" Jewell. He is survived by: his brother Rickie Darden (Mary); his nephews, Steve Figueiredo (Nikki), Brandon Figueiredo (Courtney) and Jason Darden; his niece Rachel Montgomery (Terry); and his friend Renee Boyd. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
