She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Barrett and Velma Lucille Burrell Barrett; her husband David B. Kernop; her brother James Dallas Barrett; and her granddaughter Liane Kernop.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Goss, David Kernop (Donna) and Luke Kernop (Frances); and her siblings, Sallie Summers (Gerald), Bill Barrett, John Barrett (Mary), Earl Barrett (Mada) and Bert Barrett (Wanda). She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
