He was predeceased by: his parents, Red Yates and Dorothy Hodges Yates. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Moore (Ronald) and Mike Yates; his brother Jamie Yates; his grandchildren, Trevor Moore (Mary Margaret), Meredith Moore, Evan Yates and Ella Yates; and his great grandchild Candler Moore.
